This body of 19 black & white photographs was part of the final project show for our class. Considering myself a bit of a rebel, i wanted a semester project that was opposite of norms. Conventional wisdom had you photographing moving objects with small portable 35mm cameras, and shot still lifes with a big view cameras that required the camera on a tripod, the ole' black cloth covering up the photographer & camera and you shot one sheet of film at a time. You photographed kids outdoors using a small 35mm cameras and a big view camera indoors to shoot inanimate objects. So i photographed kids outdoors with a view camera. Prior to opening the Bed & Breakfast, Ray ran a commercial photography business for 23 years, taking him all over the US and to over 40 countries around the world.
